The US Minority Ticketing Group was founded in Las Vegas in 2014 as a business league by a national group of minority ticketing, event, and entertainment business owners to create a diverse and inclusive association of event professionals. We started with a core group of 5 members and have grown steadily over the years, now numbering over 100 members.
The initial main focus of this group was to advocate for a more inclusive business environment on a local, state and national level, to reduce institutional barriers that prevent small ticketing professionals from reaching the next level. As our organization has expanded throughout the years, the USMTG has extended our reach to all professionals in the entertainment industry, including artists, promoters, athletes, lawyers, managers and more.
Through our national chair Scot X. Esdaile, we were influential in passing landmark legislation in Connecticut, fought Federal Trade Commission for equity with Congressman Adriano Espaillat of the Committee on Small Business, and this year led the fights for fairness in Missouri, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington and fourteen other states.
Dedicated to our members' growth and prosperity, we can help protect your business from overreaching regulation, connect you to leaders and legislators, and provide you with valuable benefits and services.
